Here is a quick look at our testers and their favorite skis for ’08-’09.

Preston is the Ski Department Manager at Kittredge Sports, and the leader of the test team. He is the physically strongest tester, and likes to ski steep terrain and moguls.
Favorite Skis: Volkl Grizzly, Volkl AC50, Rossignol Classic 80

Brian is a part-time employee at Kittredge, and the head chef at Alpenrose (the best food in town). He is a quick skier with a light touch and good snow feel.
Favorite skis: Fischer Watea 94, Elan 888, Rossi Classic 80

Tom Cage has been in the ski industry for over 30 years, and is a partner in Kittredge Sports. He has a strong race background, and loves to go fast on the smooth stuff.
Favorite skis: Volkl Grizzly, Elan 888, Rossi Classic 80

Wes is a part time Kittredge boot fitter and full time Level 3 instructor/trainer at Mammoth Mountain. He is a technical skier who loves bumps and steeps.
Favorite Skis: K2 obSETHed, Rossi Classic 80, K2 Explorer

Cara is a Level 2 instructor with a strong technical background. She likes to put a ski on edge and prefers shorter turns.
Favorite skis: Volkl AC 50, Fischer Vision Vapor, Fischer Zeal

Heidi was new to the shop and testing skis last year, but has been teaching at Main Lodge for a few seasons and just passed her Level 2 instructor exam. She is the tallest girl on our team, and likes to carve no matter what ski she is on.
Favorite Skis: Elan Free Spice, Fischer Vision Vaporl

Susan is another level 2 instructor, this was Susan’s second year testing skis for Kittredge. She is athletic and prefers technique over strength. She is our smallest and lightest tester.
Favorite skis: Elan Mo’ Spice, Fischer Vision Zeal

Michelle is a Mammoth native, and our most aggressive female tester. She skis fast all over the mountain. .
