Tecnica has a knack for making boots that fit many feet, and ski very well. Their liners are some of the nicest on the market, and their shells are easy on and off, even in stiffer boots. Tecnica boots are often pretty tricked (pimped) out. Look for adjustable flex, cuffs, and fancy buckles. Fortunately, most of these features work well, and allow you to really dial the boot fit and performance.

The new Dragon replaces the Diablo, and features a more modern upright stance, and better transmission of power to the inside for stronger edge hold, and more responsiveness. The Dragon 120 is the top of the line. It’s a full featured shell with a 100mm last that fits many feet, and really cool buckles that just plain work and fit better. The 120 has the Hiperfit thermo moldable liner for a personalized fit, and a very nice 45 mm wide elastic power strap for great upper cuff closure. The 110 is a touch softer, and comes with a very nice thermo moldable Ultrafit liner. The Dragon 100 is a slightly stripped down and softer version that gives lots of bang for a bit less buck.

The Agent 95 is based the old Diablo chassis with a 100 mm last and a versatile fit. It’s a great value with a proven design and solid performance.

The Vento 95 HVL is a 102 lasted boot with a lower cuff. It’s a good boot for the wide, high volume footed skier. It has a neoprene to box that really let’s your dogs spread out.

The Agent AT brings Tecnica’s overlap performance to backcountry skiing. It uses the 102 mm last, and heat moldable Ultrafit liner for all day skinning and climbing comfort. A rockered Vibram sole and ski/walk mode make the uphill a breeze, while the traditional overlap construction lets you light it up on the way down. If you ski a Duke equipped fat ski, this is maybe the only boot you need.

The new Attiva Dragon 100 is even more tricked out than the men’s Dragon 120. It has a velvet fur Ultrafit liner with Primaloft in the toe box for warmth, and lots of upper cuff adjustments to really dial the fit for a lady’s calf. The 100 uses a 98mm lady specific last.

The Attiva Pro 90 is based on the Diablo Race Pro, so it has more aggressive stance, but actually has a pretty relaxed fit. Its lower cuff and plush Attiva fur liner keep this race bred boot comfortable all day. The Pro 90 uses a 98mm last.

The Attiva V80 is almost as adjustable as the Dragon, but its wider 100 last fits a wider foot and larger calves. The V60 is softer, and has a less moldable liner.
