Rossignol has a great looking line of boots for this season. Their good looks are matched with solid performance and improved fits.
The new Bandit B-Squad Carbon is a very high performance freeride boot. It has the lower shell of a race boot with a freeride flex upper cuff. It’s wide plug fit and stiff flex make it a demanding boot for strong skiers.
They have a medium to slightly wide fit, and a nice neutral stance. The B14 is a solid boot for exploring the whole mountain, while the softer B12 is better for lighter skiers.
The “white on white” Scratch boot is a pimped out version of the B14 with plenty of shock absorbing for landing big tricks.
The Intense series of boots are easy to put on and very roomy. They don’t have the performance of the Bandit line, but they get the job done. If you have big dogs, and don’t want to spend hours getting your boots worked on, try the Intense.
The Electra boots are for good female skiers. The E14 has just the right stiffness for ripping bumps and steeps, while the E12 trades a touch of performance for forgiveness. They both have a versatile fit that works for many.
The Xena X12 is a wide comfortable boot that has plenty of calf room. It is a solid boot for intermediate to advanced skiers who spend more time on groomed runs.
